Welcome to Vet12! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the "Pet Market" section of our website. By using this section, creating an account, or purchasing an advertising package/subscription, you agree to comply with these terms.

1.1. The Platform operates purely as an Information Society Service (an advertising and classifieds hosting venue).
1.2. The Platform is not a marketplace, a broker, or an intermediary in any financial transaction or physical transfer of animals.
1.3. All sales contracts, payments, health verifications, and transport arrangements are concluded directly between the Buyer and the Seller entirely off-platform. The Platform does not process payments between users, does not offer escrow services, and does not take commissions from transactions.
2.1. Licensed Breeders & Veterinarians: Professional sellers must provide valid registration data, including their business identification numbers (EIK/UIC) and veterinary/breeder facility licenses issued by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA / БАБХ).
2.2. Private Individuals: Individuals selling animals must comply with the Bulgarian Veterinary Medical Act and the Animal Protection Act. It is strictly prohibited to list animals from unlicensed commercial breeding facilities ("puppy/kitten mills").
2.3. Legal Age: All users listing animals or communicating on the platform must be at least 18 years of age.
3.1. All animal listings must comply with Bulgarian and EU laws. Sellers must provide true information regarding the animal's age, breed, health status, vaccination history, and microchip status.
3.2. The listing of protected, endangered, or illegal wildlife species is strictly prohibited.
3.3. The Platform reserves the right to immediately remove any listing and terminate the account of any user suspected of animal cruelty, trading sick animals, or failing to provide mandatory legal documentation (e.g., European Pet Passport or microchip data upon buyer request).
4.1. Access to view listings is free. Posting listings may be subject to a subscription model or individual advertising fees as displayed in our Pricing Tariff.
4.2. Fees paid for subscriptions, premium placement, or listing renewals are non-refundable once the service has been rendered (the advertisement has been published).
4.3. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. The Platform does not store your credit/debit card information.
5.1. The Platform assumes no liability or responsibility for the health, genetic lineage, behavioral traits, or legal status of any animal listed on the site.
5.2. The Platform is not responsible for any financial losses, fraud, or disputes arising from transactions between users. Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect animals in person alongside a licensed veterinarian before completing a purchase.
5.3. The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or advertisements.
6.1. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
6.2. Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts.
